Editions

cronpad has three lineups: OSS for self-hosting the complete open-source scheduler, Enterprise for self-hosted organization features under a commercial license, and Cloud for managed hosting with Free, Pro and Enterprise plans. Enterprise features are coming soon — contact us for availability. Plan prices and limits may change.

The whole scheduler stays open: schedule syntaxes, sinks, retries, misfire handling, alerts, metrics, MCP, CLI and dashboard. Google, GitHub and one instance-wide generic OIDC provider belong to OSS. Command sinks remain subject to the operator’s hosted-mode safety policy.

Feature and plan matrix

Enterprise-only entries are coming soon — contact us, including license keys, SAML, workspace IdPs, SSO enforcement, SCIM, custom roles and audit streaming. Cloud Enterprise offers the same Enterprise features as self-hosted Enterprise, with a workspace plan instead of an instance license.

Self-hosted limits are disabled by default (0 = unlimited); the operator can set them. Retention and safety settings still apply. One every-minute job uses about 43,200 runs in a 30-day month, fitting the Free quota; two do not.

“On time” means the first attempt starts within 5 seconds. The Pro SLO excludes announced maintenance and delays caused by the workspace’s own concurrency cap. See delivery guarantees for the SLO/SLA definitions and planned maintenance windows.

License and reliability

A license, downgrade or billing problem never stops scheduling. The exceptions to continued admission are an exceeded Free-tier quota (or a Pro spend cap that adopts that behavior) and operator suspension for abuse; both produce visible skipped runs with a reason. Expired Enterprise licenses leave existing SSO logins, roles and audit streams working and make Enterprise configuration read-only after a grace period.
